Okay wat u see right on top is a an Indian carving . It was found by me in the temple in Chittorgarh Fort near Udaipur City Rajasthan. What you notice about this painting in the first place is that it is nicely carved in white marble. It is on the inner part of the dome of the temple. What is unusual is that in the painting there is one head and five lower halves of the body. Now this is why this carving finds a palce in my blog. What is depicted here is human body quite obviously and its constituents. Now by constituents what i dont mean is the heart liver kidney intestine and brain (5 major parts) and what i mean is Earth , Air , Fire , Water and the Sky. Pritvi Agni Jal Vayu Aakash. This was something really fascinating. The fact that guys in those days had real good brains and also the skills to leave those findings for some fool like me to discover. So the next thot that came up was why was this on the top of the temple and why not somewhere else. So the answer i got is as follows. In India we call god as BHAGWAN so Bh is Bhu (Earth); Ag Agni (Fire), W - Wayu (Air) , A - aakash (the sky), N - Neer (Water). So wat u mean by BHAGWAN is the 5 elements that keep us living. It is these elements we worship. GOD is Generator Operator Distroyer all of these elements have the capacity and capability to complete all these functions. I am an atheist and this is something i was looking out for. Why wer our ancestors who wer so smart and used their brains to the best of limits worshippin sumthn like the God or the Bhagwan. Well this can be a fitting reply they worshiped themselves they worshiped the forces of nature; the elements that keep the human race running . !!! What you also see is that the carving is inside a circle . The circle of life ; the circle of the earth , the circle which is complete and powerful .
