THE TRUTH -

Visited the Prince of Wales today ; out of many wonderful, amazing, shocking and mind boggling stuff kept the there one thing that i noticed were the stone carved idols of are so called Bhagwans (Bh = Bhu [Earth]) ; (Ag = Agni [Fire]), (Wa = Wayu [Wind]), (N = Neer [water]) .. {spare the applause}

Ok straight into the matter , the Tridev = Brahma , Vishnu , Mahesh

1) The theory on Brahma :

Brahma is said to be the creator of the universe (according to hindu mythology) ; he also has three heads as we know . The fact that he is not so much worshipped my the Hindus is also not hidden .

So according to me Brahma is the Human Brain. The brain that creates the universe around us (there is no negating this fact) . Now the three heads - - The 3 states of our mind (brain) conscious, the sub-conscious and the unconscious. The fact that is not much worshipped ,, well isn`t that the ultimate truth .

The Stuff that Brahma carries : [Straight from wikipedia]

The Four Hands - Brahmā's four arms represent the four cardinal directions: east, south, west, and north. The back right hand represents mind, the back left hand represents intellect, the front right hand is ego, and the front left hand is self-confidence.

The Rosary - Symbolizes the substances used in the process of creation.

The Book - The book symbolizes knowledge.

The Gold - Gold symbolizes activity; the golden face of Brahmā indicates that He is actively involved in the process of creating the Universe.

The Swan - The swan is the symbol of grace and discernment. Brahmā uses the swan as his vāhana, or his carrier or vehicle.

The Crown - Lord Brahmā's crown indicates His supreme authority.

The Lotus - The lotus symbolizes nature and the living essence of all things and beings in the Universe.

The Beard - Brahmā's black or white beard denotes wisdom and the eternal process of creation.

Should i say more .

Note : there are some theories which say Brahma had four heads , then that can be countered by the fact that the ultimate source of knowlege the VEDAs were four ...

2) The Theory about Vishnu

Well I may falter here on facts . But as Brahma Stands for the Human Brain , Vishnu according to me stands for the human heart . The facts that Krishna and Ram are a part of Vishnu, the one justification i can come up with .

Krishna was known for following his hearts the proof are the Gopy's that surround him , his love for Radha, the stuff he's supposed to have spoken in the Bhagvad Gita.

The following are some of the Quotes i can list

# "I am the goal, the sustainer, the master, the witness, the abode, the refuge, and the most dear friend. I am the creation and the annihilation, the basis of everything, the resting place and the eternal seed."
# "But what need is there, Arjuna, for all this detailed knowledge? With a single fragment of Myself I pervade and support this entire universe."
# "If hundreds of thousands of suns were to rise at once into the sky, their radiance might resemble the effulgence of the Supreme Person in that universal form."
# "Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not despair.

#2 (pasted from Wikipedia)

In the Vishnu Purana (6.5.79) the personality named Parashara Rishi defines six bhagas as follows:

aiśvaryasya samagrasya vīryasya yaśasaḥ śriyaḥ
jñāna-vairāgyayoś caiva ṣannāḥ bhaga itīṇganā

Jiva Gosvami explains the verse in his Gopala Champu (Pūrva 15.73) and Bhagavata Sandarbha 46.10:

jñāna-śakti-balaiśvarya-vīrya-tejām.sy aśeṣataḥ
bhagavac-chabda-vācyāni vinā heyair guṇādibhiḥ

"The substantives of the word bhagavat (bhagavat-śabda-vācyāni) are unlimited (aśes.atah.) knowledge (jñāna), energies (śakti), strength (bala), opulence (aiśvarya), heroism (vīrya), splendor (tejas), without (vinā) objectionable (heyair) qualities (guṇādibhiḥ)."

Vishnu possesses six such divine glories, namely,

* Jñāna Omniscient; defined as the power to know about all beings simultaneously;
* Aishvarya Sovereignty, which persist in unchallenged rule over all;
* Shakti Energy, or power, which is the capacity to make the impossible possible;
* Bala Strength, which is the capacity to support everything by his will and without any fatigue;
* Virya Vigour, or valour which indicates the power to retain immateriality as the Supreme Spirit or Being in spite of being the material cause of mutable creations;
* Tèjas Resplendent, or Splendour, which expresses his self-sufficiency and the capacity to overpower everything by his spiritual effulgence; cited from Bhakti Schools of Vedanta, by Swami Tapasyananda.

** All these as I know are the qualities of the Heart . I say according to me Vishnu , is the ruler of the Human Heart

3) The Theory about Shiva

As mentioned in my blog : http://hardynsymby.blogspot.com/

I paste the same stuff again

Shiva Linga
Shiva Linga is a wide spread Indian Phallic figure. It consists of a feminine base ‘Yoni’ or ‘vagina’ and a rising masculine portion ‘the Phallus’ or ‘penis.’ The Linga artifacts, dating from the first century BC to the third century AD, are shaped like realistic ‘Phalli’. Thereafter the shape becomes progressively more abstract. By medieval times, its observable portion, rising from the Yoni, forms a round block with domed apex.

Shiva, the lord of erect Phallus (urdhvalinga), is traced to the ithyphallic figure of Indus Valley civilization or to the phallic images found more generally in prehistoric India. The epics and Puranas tell how a great fire appeared from the cosmic waters, and from this flame Linga Shiva emerged to claim supremacy and worship over Brahma and Vishnu, when he was castrated because he seduced sages’ wives in the pine forests of Himalayas. He castrated himself because no one could castrate the Supreme Lord. Thus fallen phallus of the Supreme Lord destroyed all the worlds until it reached the Yoni of Uma/Parvati and cooled down. All procreation of worlds started after the worship of Yoni-Linga was restored and all Gods, including Vishnu and Brahma accepted supremacy of Lord Shiva.

Lord Shiva’s other form is ‘Ardhanariswara’, half man and half woman. Lord Shiva, with his consort Parvati, is always in a celestial dance of procreation and destruction of the worlds. He is not only the embodiment of ‘Kama’ (the sexual lust, desire or pleasure, the force that is the basis for the evolution of diverse life forms and Humans on earth) in the forms of Phallus and androgynous Ardhanarishwara, but also the destroyer of ‘Kama’ when he destroyed ‘Kamadeva’ only to restore his life at the request of Kama’s wife Rati, ‘the coitus or the sexual intercourse.’ Without the sexual desire (Kama) there is no sexual intercourse (Rati) and no procreation. Lord Shiva’s manifestations are memorialized in the local texts of great shrines ranging from temple complexes of Khajuraho in the north to Madhurai in the south.

Shiva mythology, in fact, is a rich source of Indian thinking about sexuality, social relations, ritual, cosmic process, and metaphysics. The Male-Female union in the form of “Phallus or Shiva Linga or Yoni-Linga” or “the Ardhanarishwara” may be visualized as a parallel to the Chinese philosophy of “Yin-Yang” or ‘the Male-Female.” Metaphysically, it also is the most scientific philosophy that explains fundamentals of existence through ‘positive and negative’ or ‘male and female’ aspects of matter and life. Moksha is only after Kama, of the four principles of life-Dharma, Ardha, Kama, and Moksha. Kama is a sacred duty of men and women.

Unfortunately, some of us are ashamed of it because of Christian and Islamic influences. It was unacceptable, shameful and sinful to the Christians. They denounced it without understanding the culture, wrote demeaning articles, made laws and were able to influence the population to some extent. Their purpose was to teach us (the cultures which consider sex as sacred) the true path to God, the Christianity that considers sex as sin and purification of which is attained only by the blood of Jesus, the savior. Victorian Christians had the same kind of shock when they colonized Polynesian islands, for those islanders were sexually explicit in their lifestyle. The shocked Christian missionaries vowed and succeeded to eradicate the satanic culture by converting them to Christianity!

Fortunately, in the Indian continent non-Christians and non-Muslims still survive and continue age-old practices of respect for nature, animals and recognize the sacred aspect of sex. That is why we are considered an old and continuing civilization without any break, while our brethren in Europe lost their religion and culture totally to Christianity. The Indian reformers, with the British influence and help, got rid of some oppressive customs like Devdasi, Basivi, Sati etc., that forced women into prostitution and self-immolation in the name of religion. Ironically, today the Indian society looks down upon the west as a promiscuous society, and attempts to protect itself from the western vulgarity, indiscrimination and extramarital sex by censorship, a legacy of puritanical Christian and Islamic influence, while maintaining the sacred sensuality in the religion and within the marriage.

Mrs. Kalanidhi Narayanan, a Bharata Natyam teacher explained, 'the sex in the life is like food and sleep, without which there is no life. If you
consider sex is sacred, it is sacred. But if you think it is sin, it is sin. It depends on your out look.' She pointed out several poses and gestures in the Bharata Natyam that explicitly and implicitly point to 'Rati Sukha Saaram,' (the essence of the pleasure of sexual intercourse) in the love affair of Radha-Krishna, where the sexual union of Radha and Krishna is at a philosophical level the union between the God and the devotee, while at a physical level simply sex. What you see depends on your mental status and outlook.

We all have freedom to convert to any religion we like. But, there is no need to distort and censor the sexuality of the truth and origins of Linga. Hindu Religions like Saktism, Shaivism, Vaishnavism have a sacred sensual aspect to them. Let Truth Prevail.

(This article was written in response to a discussion on sexual nature of Shiva Linga. The purpose of the article is truth but not defense of Hinduisms (Indian Religions) like Shaivism or Vaishnavism or Tantrism (Yoni Tantra) or Saktism.)

THE FACT THAT THE "HUMAN BODY" IS SOMETHING THAT ARE ANCESTORS HAVE BEEN WORSHIPPING IS WHAT I BELIEVE IN. IF OUR ANCESTORS SAW WHAT WE CAN DO BY JUST A SINGLE CLICK; THEY WOULD CONSIDER US AS GOD. THERE IS ONE WAY AHEAD THAT IS US AND THERE IS ONE WAY BEHIND THAT ALSO IS US..

THEY MAY CUT HEADS SLAUGHTER PEOPLE OVER A SINGLE TEMPLE.. THEY ARE IGNORANT , THEY CHOOSE TO BE,, WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE ???????????

AND THEN HE SAID ''LET THERE ME LIGHT; AND THERE WAS LIGHT"

The MAYAN Calender for the Rookies

Among their other accomplishments, the ancient Mayas invented a calendar of remarkable accuracy and complexity. At right is the ancient Mayan Pyramid Chichen Itza, Yucatan, Mexico. The Pyramid of Kukulkan at Chichén Itzá, constructed circa 1050 was built during the late Mayan period, when Toltecs from Tula became politically powerful. The pyramid was used as a calendar: four stairways, each with 91 steps and a platform at the top, making a total of 365, equivalent to the number of days in a calendar year.

The Maya calendar was adopted by the other Mesoamerican nations, such as the Aztecs and the Toltec, which adopted the mechanics of the calendar unaltered but changed the names of the days of the week and the months. An Aztec calendar stone is shown above right.

The Maya calendar uses three different dating systems in parallel, the Long Count, the Tzolkin (divine calendar), and the Haab (civil calendar). Of these, only the Haab has a direct relationship to the length of the year.

A typical Mayan date looks like this: 12.18.16.2.6, 3 Cimi 4 Zotz.

12.18.16.2.6 is the Long Count date.
3 Cimi is the Tzolkin date.

The Eye of Ra ..

The stuff tha i`m puttin in is copy pasted but ain`t this cool .. chck the stuff out and see watis it all abt ..

The Wadjet (or Ujat, meaning "Whole One") is a powerful symbol of protection also known as the "Eye of Horus" and the "all seeing eye". The symbol was frequently used in jewellery made of gold, silver, lapis, wood, porcelain, and carnelian, to ensure the safety and health of the bearer and provide wisdom and prosperity. However, it was also known as the "Eye of Ra", a powerful destructive force linked with the fierce heat of the sun which was described as the "Daughter of Ra". The "eye" was personified as the goddess Wadjet and associated with a number of other gods and goddesses (notably Hathor, Bast, Sekhmet, Tefnut, Nekhbet and Mut).

Horus was an ancient a sky god whose eyes were said to be the sun and the moon. However, he soon became strongly associated with the sun (and the sun god Ra as Ra-Horakhty ("Ra, who is Horus of the two horizons") while Thoth was associated with the moon. An ancient myth describes a battle between Horus and Set in which Horus´ right eye was torn out and Set lost his testicles! Thoth magically restored Horus´ eye, at which point it was given the name "Wadjet" ("whole" or "healthy"). In this myth it is specifically stated that it is Horus´ left eye which has been torn out, so the myth relates to the waxing and waning of the moon during which the moon appears to have been torn out of the sky before being restored once every lunar month.

There are a number of depictions of the restoration of the eye in Greco-Roman temples. Thoth is assisted by fourteen gods including the gods of the Ennead of Hermopolis or thirty male deities (in Ismant el-Kharab, the Dakhla Oasis). Each god represented one of the fifteen days leading up to the full moon, and to the waning moon. The restored eye became emblematic of the re-establishment of order from chaos, thus closely associating it with the idea of Ma´at. In one myth Horus made a gift of the eye to Osiris to help him rule the netherworld. Osiris ate the eye and was restored to life. As a result, it became a symbol of life and resurrection. Offerings are sometimes called "the Eye of Horus" because it was thought that the goods offered became divine when presented to a god.

The Eye of Horus was believed to have healing and protective power, and it was used as a protective amulet. It was also used as a notation of measurement, particularly for measuring the ingredients in medicines and pigments. The symbol was divided into six parts, representing the shattering of Horus´ eye into six pieces. Each piece was associated with one of the six senses and a specific fraction.

More complex fractions were created by adding the symbols together. It is interesting to note that if the pieces are added together the total is 63/64 not 1. Some suggest that the remaining 1/64 represents the magic used by Thoth to restore the eye, while others consider that the missing piece represented the fact that perfection was not possible. However, it is equally likely that they appreciated the simplicity of the system which allowed them to deal with common fractions quickly, after all they already had a symbol for the number "1" and they had other numerical notations available when they needed to use smaller fractions.

According to later traditions, the right eye represented the sun and so is called the "Eye of Ra" while the left represented the moon and was known as the "eye of Horus" (although it was also associated with Thoth). However, in many cases it is not clear whether it is the left or right eye which is referred to. Others myths suggest that it is Horus´ right eye which was torn out and that the myth refers to a solar eclipse in which the sun is momentarily blotted from the sky.

One Body - 5 elements

Okay wat u see right on top is a an Indian carving . It was found by me in the temple in Chittorgarh Fort near Udaipur City Rajasthan. What you notice about this painting in the first place is that it is nicely carved in white marble. It is on the inner part of the dome of the temple. What is unusual is that in the painting there is one head and five lower halves of the body. Now this is why this carving finds a palce in my blog. What is depicted here is human body quite obviously and its constituents. Now by constituents what i dont mean is the heart liver kidney intestine and brain (5 major parts) and what i mean is Earth , Air , Fire , Water and the Sky. Pritvi Agni Jal Vayu Aakash. This was something really fascinating. The fact that guys in those days had real good brains and also the skills to leave those findings for some fool like me to discover. So the next thot that came up was why was this on the top of the temple and why not somewhere else. So the answer i got is as follows. In India we call god as BHAGWAN so Bh is Bhu (Earth); Ag Agni (Fire), W - Wayu (Air) , A - aakash (the sky), N - Neer (Water). So wat u mean by BHAGWAN is the 5 elements that keep us living. It is these elements we worship. GOD is Generator Operator Distroyer all of these elements have the capacity and capability to complete all these functions. I am an atheist and this is something i was looking out for. Why wer our ancestors who wer so smart and used their brains to the best of limits worshippin sumthn like the God or the Bhagwan. Well this can be a fitting reply they worshiped themselves they worshiped the forces of nature; the elements that keep the human race running . !!! What you also see is that the carving is inside a circle . The circle of life ; the circle of the earth , the circle which is complete and powerful .
